What will be the obtuse angle between hands of a clock at 2 : 30 ?

Solution:

(a) At 2'0 Clock, Minute Hand will be 10 x 6 = 60° behind the Hour Hand.
In 30 minutes, Minute Hand will gain

[5 1/2]^°×30

= 150 + 15 = 165°

∴Angle between Hour Hand and Minute Hand
= 165 - 60 = 105°
