A car rims at the speed of 50 kmph when not serviced andruns at 60 kmph, when serviced. After servicing the carcovers a certain distance in 6 hours. How much time willthe car take to cover the same distance when not serviced ?

Solution:

(d) After sen’icing, speed of car = 60 km/h
∴Distance covered in 6 hours
= (60 x 6)km = 360 km
Before servicing, time taken to cover 360 km
∴Time taken

=7.2 hours
