Solution:

Let his Monthly salary = x
Food expenses :

=20/100×x=x/5

House Rent =

40/100×[x-x/5]={8x}/5

Remaining amount

=x-x/5-8x/25={25x-5x-8x}/25={12x}/25

Hence.

{12x}/25=5760

⇒

x = 12000

and yearly salary

= 12 x 12000 = 144000.
