Pratyaksh Hanstantrit Labh Scheme (PAHAL) was launched in 2013 to reduce the diversion and eliminate duplicate LPG connections. It was relaunched in 2015 under which LPG connections were sold at market rates and the entitled consumers get subsidy directly into their bank accounts.
