Give It Up LPG subsidy is a campaign launched in March 2015 by the Indian Government led by PM Narendra Modi. It is aimed at motivating LPG users, who can afford to pay the market price for $\mathit{L}\mathit{P}\mathit{G}$ to voluntarily surrender their $\mathit{L}\mathit{P}\mathit{G}$ subsidy. The surrendered subsidy is being used by the government to provide cooking gas connections to poor families in rural households free of cost.
