Mangroves are trees or shrubs that grow in salty water in hot places like the tropics. Mangroves make a special saltwater woodland or shrubland habitat, called a mangrove swamp, mangrove forest. The largest mangrove forests in India are Sundarbans and Bhitarkanika mangroves.
