Solution:

Neutrons present in one molecule of water = 8

Since

\A=\Z+\N_\A

∴

\N_\A=\A-\Z

=16-8=8

One mole of water contains = 8

neutrons
∴ 5 moles of water

=5×8×\N_\A

=5×8×6.022×10^23

(\N_\A=\Avogadro \constant=6.022×10^23 )

=2.409×10^25
