Solution:

Given,

x.2x+2L3x+3

are the first term of GP

∴(2x+2)^2=x(3x+3)

⇒4x^2+8x+4=3x^2+3x

⇒x^2+5x+4=0

⇒(x+4)(x+1)=0

⇒x=-4,x≠-1

∴ Terms are

-4,-6,-9

r={-6}/{-4}=3/2

a_4=-4(3/2)^3=-4×27/8==-27/2=-13.5
