Validate

Solution:

Speed while travelling from A to B = 50 km/h
Speed while travelling from B to A = 100 km/h
∴ Required average speed =

{2×50×100}/{50+100}

{1000}/{3600}

= 18.5 m/s
Now, average velocity is 0 km/h as displacement is zero.
