Solution:

We know that,

\text "Average latency"=\text "Max latency"/2

where, Max latency

=1/\text "rev/time"=1/{6000}/60s

=60/6000s=1/100s

=10^{-2}s

So, the average latency

=10^{-2}/2

=0.5×10^{-2}

=5×10^{-3}s
