If all the 6’s are replaced by 9’s, then the algebraic sum of all the numbers from 1 to 100 (both inclusive), varies by;

Solution:

There are 19 numbers which has 6 as a digit when unit digit 6 is replaced by 9, then sum of numbers will be increase by

=3×10=30

From 60 to 69 there are 10 numbers which have ten's digit 6.
Here, the increase will be

30×10=300

∴ Total increase

=30+300=330
