If (2, 1), (–1, –2), (3, 3) are the midpoints of the sides BC, CA, AB of a triangle AB C then equation of the line BC is;

Solution:

Let D, E and F are the mid-points of the sides 8C, CA and AB of ΔABC
BC is parallel to side EF and passes through (2,1).
∴ Equation of line BC is

y-1={3+2}/{3+1}(x-2)

⇒y-1={5}/{4}(x-2)

⇒4y-4=5x-10

⇒5x-4y-6=0
