The lines 3x-4y + 4 = 0 and 6x - 8y - 7 = 0 are tangent to the same circle. The radius of this circle is :

Solution:

Since, lines are parallel
So, distance between them is the diameter of the circle.
Lines are

3x-4y+4=0

and

3x-4y-7/2=0

∴ Distance between them

={4-(-7{/}2)}/√{(3)^2+(4)^2}=15/10=3/2

So,radius

=3/4
