In a row of children facing North, Seema if shifted to her right by four places becomes 18 th from the right end of the row. Sudhakar, who is 15th from the left end of the row is 5 th to the left of Seema. How many children are there in the row?

Validate

Solution:

If Seema shifts 4 places to right, her position will be 18th from right.

∴

Seema's original position from right

=18+4=22

Sudhakar's rank from left

=15

Children between Sudhakar and Seema= 4

∴

Total children

=22+15+4=41
