read a newspaper and

read a newspaper and watch the news on TV. What per cent of the people surveyed neither watch the news on TV nor read a newspaper?

We can arrange the given survey data in following Venn diagram.

Clearly, total percentage of viewers and readers will be

100 \%

Thus, required percentage of people who neither watch the news nor read newspaper

=100-(40+25+15)=20 \%
