then the weight of the papers (in g) is

Solution:

Given, total weight

=36 {kg}

and
ratio of weight of box and paper bundles

=3: 22

or weight of the box

=3 x {g}

and weight of the bundle

=22 x {g}

⇒ \;\; 3 x+22 x=36 × 1000 {g}

⇒ \;\; 25 x=36000 {g}

⇒ \;\; x=\;{36000}/{25} ⇒ x=1440 {g}

∴

Weight of the paper

=22 x

=22 × 1440=31680 {g}
