Let

₹ x

is lend at

6 \%

per annum, and

₹(16800-x)

8 \%

per annum,

∴ \;{x × 2 × 6}/{100}+\;{(16800-x) × 8 × 2}/{100}=2200

⇒ \;\; \;{12 x}/{100}+\;{268800-16 x}/{100}=2200

⇒12 x-16 x+268800=2200 × 100

⇒ \;\; -4 x=220000-268800

⇒ \;\; 4 x=48800

⇒ \;\; x=\;{48800}/{4}=₹ 12200
