Quantity of liquid

in 24 litre mixture

=11/{11+13}×24

= 11 litre
Quantity of liquid

in 24 litre mixture

=13/{11+13}×24

= 13 litre

∴{11{L}_{1}-11}/{13{L}_{1}-13+24}={2}/{3}

⇒{11{L}_{1}-11}/{13{L}_{1}+11}=\;\;{2}/{3}

⇒33{L}_{1}-33=26{L}_{1}+22

⇒7{L}_{1}=55

⇒{L}_{1}=\;\;{55}/{7}

Hence, quantity of liquid
