Forty five men can complete a work in 16 days. Six days after they started working, 30 more men joined them. How many days will they now take to complete the remaining work?

Validate

Solution:

45 men + 30 men = 75 men
16 days – 6 days = 10 days
∵ 45 men can do a work in 10 days
∴ 1 man can do this work in 45 × 10 days
∴ 75 men can do this work in

{45×10}/75

days = 6 days
