The diagonal and breadth of a rectangle is 10 cms. and 6 cms. respectively. What is the perimeter of the rectangle?

Solution:

In right triangle ABC,

AB=√{(10)^2-(6)^2}

=√{100-36}=√64=8cm

Perimeter of rectangle

=2(l+b)

=2(8+6)

=28cm.
