Shiva walks 10 km towards North and then turns right. After walking 3 km he again turns right and walks 7 km. Now he turns left and walks 1 km. How far is he from the starting point?

Validate

Solution:

AB = 3 + 1 = 4 km
AC = 3 km

∴BC=√{4^2+3^2}

=√{16+9}=√25=5

km.
