$=300-\frac{20}{100}\times 300$

$\therefore$ Another successive discount of $\mathit{₹}\left(240-216\right)=24$
Let discount per cent be $\mathit{x}\%$.
$\therefore \mathit{x}\%$ of $240=24$
$\Rightarrow \frac{\mathit{x}}{100}\times 240=24$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=10\%$
