I. There are 47 students in the class.
II. Jatin who ranks 10th in the same class, ranks 38th from the last.

If the data in Statement II alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in Statement I alone are not sufficient to answer the question

Validate

Solution:

I : Gaurav's rank from the last

=(47–18+1)=30

Total students in class

=10+38–1=47

∴ Gaurav's rank from the last

=47–18+1=30

Therefore, either statement is sufficient
