(4) Let Sophia’s monthly salary be Rs. x.
According to the question,
Sophia’s percentage monthly expenditure = (25 + 1 5 + 35)% = 75%
Savings per cent
= 100 - 75 = 25%
∴ 25% of x = 9050
⇒

{25×x}/100 = 9050 =>x/4= 9050

x = 9050 × 4 = Rs. 36200

∴ Sophia’s annual income
= Rs. (1 2 × 36200) = Rs. 434400
