According to the question.
$\frac{12\mathit{x}+6}{7\mathit{x}+6}=\frac{3}{2}$
⇒$24\mathit{x}+12=21\mathit{x}+18$
⇒24x-21x= 18- 12=>3x = 6
⇒$\mathit{x}=\frac{6}{3}=2$
∴Required difference = 12x - 7x = 5x
$=5\times 2=10$years
