(D) Kanha National Park is famous for tigers. Located in the Mandala and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh,this park was earlier divided into two sanctuaries, viz.,Hallon and Banjar till 1933.Later, it was christened into Kanha National Park on June 1, 1955. The Kanha Tiger Reserve is the first national park and tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
