MPPSC 2015 General Studies Solved Paper-1

(A) Vishnu Chinchalkar was a famous Chitrakar. He was universally called ‘Guruji’. He was born on $5^{\mathit{t}\mathit{h}}$ of September 1917 in Aalot village, Dewas district, Madhya Pradesh. He was sent to Indore school of Arts to study under the tutelage of D. D. Devlalikar. Some personalities like N. S. Bendre and M. F. Hussein were his seniors at the art school.
