(B) Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the President of the Constituent Assembly of independent India. Dr. Sachchidananda Sinha was the first chairman (temporary) of Constituent Assembly. Later Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected as the president. The assembly was chaired by Dr. Rajendra Prasad when it met as aconstituent body, and by G.V. Mavlankar when it met as a legislative body.
