(D) Nirad Chandra Chaudhuri was an Indian English-language writer. Chaudhuri authored numerous works in English and Bengali. Vikram Seth is an Indian novelist and poet. He has written several novels and poetry books. Arundhati Roy is an Indian author best known for her novel The God of Small Things, which won the Man Booker Prize for Fiction in 1997. Zubin Mehta is an Indian conductor of Western and Eastern classical music. He is currently music director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra(IPO).
