Andhra Pradesh has announced that it will have three capitals. This decision was taken by state cabinet to promote decentralisation and inclusive growth in all the regions of the state. These three capitals are - Amaravati as the legislative capital - Visakhapatnam as the executive capital - Kurnool as the judicial capital
