Solution:

Let the speed of car be

x {km} \/ {h}

.
Speed of pedestrian

=2 {km} \/ {h}

Relative speed

=(x-2) {km} \/ {h}

∴ (x-2) × \;{6}/{60} =0.6

⇒ x-2 =6

∴ x =8 {km} \/ {h}
