Validate

Solution:

(1) According to the question,

{x×5×4}/100+ {(12000- x )×6×4}/100

= 2580
(where x = sum invested at 5% per annum)
⇒ 5x + 72000 - 6x = 64500
⇒ x = ₹ 7500
