Solution:

(b) Let the present age of Shyam be x yr.
∴ Age of Shyam’s grandson Anup =

According to the question,
Age of Anup = Age of Mahesh - 2yr
= 5 - 2 = 3yr

{x - 6}/18

= 3
∴ x = 60yr
