I. Math, Science and English have weights 5, 4 and 3 respectively.
II. Simple arithmetic mean of Math and Science is 140, which is twice his average of Science and English.

(d) From Statement I,

and

From Statement II,
Marks obtained in Maths and Science = (M + S) = 280
and Science and English = (S + E) = 140
Now, weighted average =

{Σw_ix_i}/{Σw_i}

{W_1X_1 + W_2X_2 + W_3X_3 + ..... }/{w_1 + w_2 + w_3 + .....}

But we do not know marks obtained in Maths, Science and English separately.

Hence, both statements together are not sufficient to answer the question.
