By Allegation Rule,


Required ratio = $\frac{1}{30}:\frac{4}{55}$
part of 1st vessel mixture = $\frac{11}{35}$
and part of 2nd vessel mixture = $\frac{24}{35}$
Thus, in 35 litres cask, 11 litres of 1st vessel and 24 litres of 2nd vessel are taken.
