Solution:

(a) Given, Marked Price (MP) = ₹ 651Selling Price (SP) = ₹ 56.16
and first discount = 10%
∴ SP after first discount =

90/100×65=₹\;\58.5

Hence, second discount =

{58.5-56.16}/58.5×100%

=2.34/5×100%=4%
