(a) Special Drawing Rights (SDR) is an international monetary reserve currency, created by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 1969 It is an artificial currency and defined as a "basket of national currencies".
Recently. IMF has decided to include Chinese Tuan to its basket of currency. Other currencies in SDR are US dollar, Euro, Japanese, Yen and British pound.
