∴ 44 = $\frac{22}{7}$ × ${\mathit{r}}^2$ × 7
⇒ ${\mathit{r}}^2$ = $\frac{44\times 7}{22\times 7}$ = 2
⇒ r = $\sqrt{2}$ m
