Solution:

(a ) Let first part of money = ₹ x
and second part of money = ₹ (6000 - x)
Now, according to the question,

{x × 6 × 2}/100

{(6000 - x) × 8 × 3}/100

⇒ x = 12000 - 2x
⇒ 3x = 12000
∴ x = 4000
So, first part of money = ₹ 4000
and second part of money = ₹ 2000
