• Born on 18 April 1858 in Ratnagiri.
• In 1873 Karve married Radhabai.
• 1880 passed the Matriculation exam in Mumbai.
• In 1884 completed a B.A. in Mathematics from Elphinstone College.
• In 1891 his wife Radhabai died.
• In the same year, he got appointed as a teacher of mathematics in Fergusson college
• In 1893 he married to Godubai who was a widow. Hence statement D is Correct.
• Godubai was the daughter of Bal Krishna Joshi and was from the Sharda Sadan of Pandita Ramabai.
