Solving the equation,
$\Rightarrow \left(50/100\right)\mathit{x}=\left(5/4\right)\mathit{y}\mathit{–}\mathit{y}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}/2=\mathit{y}/4$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}/\mathit{y}=1/2$
Hence, The ratio between the numbers A and B is 1:2.
