• It becomes fertile by the flood water which reaches the region every year.
• Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal consist of mostly the Khadar soil.
• Bhangar soil is made up of old Alluvial Soil and is found in the region between two rivers (Doab). Example - Ganga- Yamuna Doab.
