Solution:

The correct answer is $2 ms^{-2}$
We know that according to Newton's 2nd law, Force = Mass x Acceleration
or $F^{→} =m×a^{→}$
Here, F= 100 N and Mass= 50Kg
So, $100= 50x a ⇒ a = 100{/}50 = 2$ .
Hence, the acceleration will be $2 ms^{-2}$ .
