Given:
Sum of numbers = 12
Product of numbers = 35
Calculation:
Let the numbers be x and y

x + y = 12

xy = 35

According to question we have to find

1{/}x + 1{/}y

⇒ 1{/}x + 1{/}y = (y + x){/}xy

⇒ 1{/}x + 1{/}y = 12{/}35

∴ Sum of their reciprocal is 12/35
