What is the difference between the average amount of wheat and the average amount of sugar consumed by all the Restaurants together?

Solution:

Total consumption of wheat
= (600+800+550+600+750) kg. = 3300 kg.
Average consumption =

= 660 kg
Average consumption of sugar =

{600+550+350+500+500}/5

=

{2500}/5

= 500 kg
Required difference = 660-500= 160 kg.
