Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Dharamshala, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur and Delhi were, on 21 July 2015, named as venues for the 2016 World Twenty20. The Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata will host the final on April 3, 2016. India will be hosting the World Twenty20 tournament for the first time.
