Pope Francis on 18 October 2015 canonized the parents of St. Therese Lisieux- Louis and Zelie Martin-at a special ceremony held at the St. Peter’s Square in Vatican. With this, they became the first couple to be canonized in modem times. St. Therese is popularly known as the Little Flower1 around the world.
