Solution:

According to the question

or

{2B}/7

or , 7A = 8B ... (i)
Again
A + B = Rs. 30,000 ...(ii)
From equation (i) and (ii), we get

{8B}/7

+ B = Rs . 30,000
8B + 7B
= Rs. (30,000 x 7)
∴ B = Rs.

({30,000×7}/{15})

= Rs. 14000
