LIC AAO Model Paper 10

The Securitisation and Reconstructionof Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI) was specially enacted in 2002 to empower Banks / Financial Institutions to recover their non-performing assets without the intervention of the Court. It allows banks and other financial institution to auction residential or commercial properties to recover loans.
