Aadhar-enabled payment system (AePS) allows balance inquiry, cash withdrawal, cash deposit and Aadhaar to Aadhaar funds transfer. All that a customer needs for availing of the AePS services is an Aadhaar number. These transactions are biometric based transactions in which routing of authentication request to UIDAI is done by NPCI. It is a real time payment system; the account gets deb- ited/credited instantly upon successful authentication
